CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA, PLATEAU STATE CHAPTER SALUTES PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND GOVERNOR SIMON BAKO LALONG ON THE 21ST UNINTERRUPTED DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATION

Rev. Fr Polycarp Lubo, the newly elected Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), Plateau State Chapter, on behalf of the newly elected State Executive Council members,and the entire body of Christ in Plateau State warmly salutes His Excellency,M Buhari GCFR, the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo GCON , Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Deputy Speaker Ahmed Idris Maje, His Excellency Rt.Hon.Barr.Dr Simon Bako Lalong, KSSG ,the Executive Governor of Plateau State and Chairman Northern Governor's Forum , Deputy Governor Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba, Deputy Speaker Saleh Yipmong, Justice Dakwak, Head of Denominations and Blocs and indeed all well meaning Nigerians, as we celebrate Nigeria's 21st uninterrupted Democracy on Jun12,2020.

As we celebrate the nation's 21st Democracy Day and Governor Lalong's 5th Democracy Day Celebration's,we appeal for patience, calm and understanding in this period of the Covid -19 Pandemic as our leaders work extremely hard to teem the economic, spiritual and social effects of the conundrum.

We in CAN, call all members to adhere strictly to the WHO,NCDC,PTF and Plateau State Covid-19 Committee directives and guidelines of physical distancing, constant washing of hands, wearing of face mask and maintaining two meters distance in the Church.

Lastly, to God Almighty and those who ensured our smooth and peaceful elections, we say a big thank you and have a very wonderful 21st Democracy Day Celebration's.
