PLATEAU STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

The Permanent Secretary, Plateau State Local Government Service Commission, Miskoom Henry K. Lankwap, on behalf of Directing Staff and the teeming workforce of the Seventeen (17) Local Government Councils, heartily felicitate with the Presidency and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari(GCFR), His Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo (GCON),the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ahmed Lawan,the Hon. Speaker of the House of Representative,Rt.Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and indeed the Chief Justice of the Federation,Justice Ibrahim Tanko over the Commemoration of Democracy Day.

We equally join millions of well meaning citizens of Plateau State on this auspicious occasion to bring special greetings to the leader of the Rescue Team and our amiable Governor Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong and Chairman Northern Governors' Forum, his Deputy Professor Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, the Hon Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba as well as the State Chief Judge Hon. Justice Yakubu Dakwak and all the peace loving democratic citizens of the State as we mark yet another anniversary of our evolution from Military era and transition to democratic rule for the past two decades.

Your Excellency Sir, the journey so far has been very rewarding with the vision of good things in sight , evident in the myriad of projects cascading across the entire State.

Your leadership qualities are evident in the superlative revival your administrator has induced into the Local Governments through the prompt payment of staff salaries and pensions as well as their promotions and conversions which had been stagnated for decades.This singular but significant gesture is a pleasing fulfillment of your clarion call on citizens to think and act Plateau.

May we salute your dogged stride at tamming the global monster COVID-19 which has resonated the hope in citizens of soon heaving a sigh of relief from the ugly predicament.

Your Excellency, as we wish you good health, wisdom and strength to push through with your policies and programs for a better Plateau, we pray God for smooth sailing in the coming years of your tenure.
