ALIGNING WITH BENUE.

Sometime around the late 1800s when the Fulani man, Dan Fodio was successfully championing his Jihad against Northern Nigeria (then) , he turned towards the Middle-Belt.

His trajectory would take him, his Fulani kinsmen and their brainwashed slaves through Berom land, Southern Plateau (Dengi, Kanam, Wase...etc), Tiv and Idoma Land, then across the Benue river into Ogoja land and finally to Southern Nigeria.

SO... WHAT HAPPENED THEN?

As was the practice during all Jihads, before the armies of Allah (as they call themselves) will physically enter any city to fight, they first spend an unspecified length of time on the outskirts of the city to be invaded.

During this time, their soothsayers, stargazers, enchanters and spell-casters (Yasin) casting spells over the people and their leaders...to destabilize the spiritual psyche and stand of the people.

During one of these spell casting, they will invoke the spirits of all their soldiers who had died during past Jihads ... recalling their spirits into battle against the new infidel city to be captured. 

(,This is the spiritual jihad, one of the five elements of jihad).

Depending on the spiritual strength of their target city, the siege could last from a few days to months until the spirits return from the target city  to inform them that the city is ready for the taking.

However, after taking down Bauchi and much of  Jarawa land, Usman DanFodii found himself on the  hills in present day Jos east coming into Berom land.

After casting their spells and waiting, the Yasin came back to inform him that Berom land was a no-go zone for himself and his troops ...the spells could not penetrate the land because of the great spiritual strength of the land....and should he insist on a war with these people, he will die and the land will swallow up his armies.

So in obedience to his soothsayers he withdrew, but not without sending out 3 curses on the land and people...(I will mention just the first)

..."That the Berom man should NEVER have one VOICE and ONE LEADER...but must always be divided".

Anyways... because he couldn't enter Beromland, he had to go round through southern Zazzau (present day Southern Kaduna) and back into southern Plateau, were he took down some of it (wase) ..then he moved on to Benue.

At the lands of the Tiv and Idoma man, he was again annoyingly confronted with the same situation he had met in Beromland.

This time.. Usman DanFodii took a chance of disobeying his soothsayers.

He went into battle against the Tiv man and...for the first time in the Nigeria region...HE WAS DEFEATED...he quickly withdrew back to Sokoto .

Five years later, he died.

His son and his brother who was emir over the fulani's second established emirate of Gwandu..continued the DanFodii jihad legacy into Yoruba land.... stopping at Ibadan.

What is my point?

PLATEAU and BENUE states threw the spanner in the wheels of the fulani jihad the first time...that is why they have concentrated all possible resources to bring down these two locations...as they still stand strongly in their way.

Is there a pattern here?

A quick recall of the fulani's first jihad against Fouta Djallon (Senegal)  around the 1400s showed they failed woefully and were  driven away from the land.

They however regrouped in the next city of Fouta Tourro, restrategized, fought and took down the city.

About 53 years after their first defeat in Fouta Djallon, they returned, fought and conquered the city... which they still hold down today.

Tonight... as Benue state makes her stand for the soul of Nigeria,

let's all raise a voice for BENUE and PLATEAU states as also for all other states in Nigeria were innocent blood is being shed (in the name of a war declared by the fulanis and their sponsors) that God Almighty...the GOD OF THE  HOSTS will ARISE and defend HIS people and break the hands of the wicked, causing them to fail in their enterprise.

That the weapons and strategies of the Invaders will fail from tonight.

That the hands and hearts of our people be strengthened by the WORD AND PRESENCE OF YAHWEH SABOATH.

That one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand.

That for the innocent blood they have shed in this Nation, let God answer them and let their spells collapse back upon their very heads.

Pray that even among them, let those that God Almighty has determined to save be saved but let those of them ripe for judgement fall under instant judgement in the name of Jesus Christ.
