Sexual harassment - Women  Group storms  Plateau Police Headquarters, Demands Justice

Women group on the plateau , Women4women He4She in collaboration with FIDA(Federation Of Women Lawyers),Human Right Groups& NCWS(National Council For Women Societies) on Saturday were at the police headquarters Jos whom were received by the Deputy Commissioner of Police .

Dr Jophia Gupar the president of the Women4women He4She Plateau State spoke on behalf on the group and highlighted the Essence of the visit as to regards to the worrisome activities of some Labanese people in Jos on how they go about defiling girl childs in Jos from the ages of 13-15 years and they are at the CID to demand for justice and they want to ensure that the culprits ain't granted bail and justice must be prevail and also any other related cases at hand must not be left untouched as justice must take it cause. 

While responding to the Women group ,the DCP Jos assured that they are already on the case and they would make sure that all culprits on ground must be duly prosecuted and must face the law.

Dr Jophia Gupar while addressing the press encouraged all the victims of the unfortunate incidence those known and unknown cases shouldn't shy around they should be able to speak out so that all culprits should be duly prosecuted and also advised the public against stigmatizing the victims to enable the speak out so that it would serve as a warning to many culprits fun of bevelling in such activities.

The group further advised parents and wards to educate the girl child early on child molestation especially sexually as it's not to early to speak against such to our girl child and to also make sure they put an eye on all their girl child.

Also the women groups had to commend the youths in abbatoir for standing on their grounds to fight against the culprits and stand for justice for the victims and also for the security personnel especially the Nigerian police for maintaining Peace and order in other to prevent all sort of violent escalation In the area and State entirely..
